Warranty & RMA Policy

Dear Customers,

Thank you very much for purchasing Totolink products. To protect your rights and interests, please read the following Warranty & RMA Policy carefully.

1. Limited Warranty

Totolink provides a limited warranty on all eligible Totolink products originally purchased from an authorized retailer. The limited warranty covers failures due to defects in material or workmanship on the primary device, antenna, and external power supply. Packaging, software products and technical data are not covered under the limited warranty. The limited warranty does not extend to uninterrupted or error-free operations. Purchase receipt from an authorized retailer and a complete product serial number is required to receive any services guaranteed as part of the limited warranty.

a. The limited warranty does not apply to refurbished products or products that were resold by unauthorized resellers.

b. Totolink does not provide refunds under the limited warranty in any conditions. Totolink will replace defective units with brand new unit. If a brand new unit is not available, then the defective unit will be replaced with refurbished product.

c. If the defective unit is discontinued, end of life, or out of stock, Totolink will replace it with product(s) of equivalent value or features.

d. Product warranty periods do not renew with replacement units. The original purchase date and warranty period will apply to replacement products.

*Please note this warranty does not cover:

1) Products purchased not through legal distribution channels of  Totolink will not be eligible for the in-warranty service;

2) The product has been disassembled or repaired by a technician who is not of the Totolink or who is not authorized by Totolink ;

3Maintenance or tamper evident labels have been altered or damaged;

4) The product serial number does not match the product or the serial number is unclear and no other proof of purchase can be provided;

5Conditions that Disqualify Products from the Limited Warranty

Conditions that disqualify products from the limited warranty include, but are not limited to:

Any defects or damages caused by normal wear and tear, accidents, improper installation or maintenance, misuse (including failure to follow product documentation), neglect, disassembly, alterations to the hardware or supporting setting files, servicing other than by Totolink authorized technicians, and external causes such as, but not limited to, natural disaster, water damage, extreme thermal or environmental conditions.

a. Any defects caused by software, virus or improper use of self-made, non-public or third party/open source software.

b. Any unauthorized obliteration or tearing up of the product bar code.

c. Any defects caused by transportation or loading during returning voyage

d. Any other defects that are not caused by workmanship or product quality

For external power supplies, conditions that disqualify products from the limited warranty include, but are not limited to:

Returned power supply units that have obvious hard object damage, fissure, broken legs and/or severe deformation;

Returned power cord that is broken, has an exposed core or similar damages.

6If the equipment is damaged by a machine that occurs in the case of a non-original transformer, it is man-made damage and is not included in the warranty condition.

7Damage to products caused by the use of unofficial software is also not covered by the warranty limited.

2. Warranty Period

 

The warranty period of the product is three years, calculated from the date of manufacture.

Below are the warranty terms for products that are purchased on or before “Date”. These are period terms only. All other warranty terms can be found within the warranty policy found 

 

3. Replacement Procedure

Product Warranty

Customers are required to keep the purchase receipt (photocopy is acceptable) and present to us when requesting for product service. TOTOLINK may reject the product if no valid receipt is presented.

Normal Replacement

If the product is found to be not well functioning

Firstly, Check the invoice or receipt for proof of the time of purchase to confirm whether it is still under warranty.

Please reach our technical support email fae@zioncom.net firstly to confirm that the product is no longer functioning properly.

Customers who meet the warranty conditions, please follow the instructions of the agent customer service telephone to send the product or personally deliver the product to the location (The shipping fee is borne by the user). The “product” needs to be complete, it must include the main body of the equipment, the antenna and the power supply (If the original contains an antenna or/and a power supply).

The agent will test the product and confirm that the product complies with the warranty process.

If it is a personal delivery, in the case that the product is still in stock, the agent will directly replace the spare product to the customer.

If it is shipped, the agent will send the replacement product back to the user after the inspection is completed (Users are not required to bear the shipping fee).

If the agent detects that the product can be used normally, it will be returned to the user in its original form (Users are not required to bear the freight).

If the problem cannot be solved remotely, please send the product to our distributor located .

 

Please Note:

· Totolink may reject or return the product(s) returned without accessories or an assigned case number.

· Serial numbers not in our database may have warranty services denied.

· Products with no valid proof of purchase and where a serial number cannot be determined may have warranty services denied.

· All RMAs regardless of chosen method are subject to a processing period of up to 3 to 5 business days. The chosen method of delivery will be applied once the product has shipped.

· If the defective product is not received complete (unit, power cord/controller, antennas, etc.), RMA services may be denied and what was received returned to the customer.

· If a damaged product is received as part of an RMA replacement the RMA will be denied and the product disposed of unless the customer provides a return label to ship the product back to them.

· Individual parts such as (screws, zip-ties, wire nuts, ethernet cables, etc.) are not covered under the product’s limited warranty and may only be provided at Totolink sole discretion.

· Fees charged to customers who have selected an Advanced RMA option for failing to return defective products within the specified time are non-refundable.

Appendix:

 

1. THE LIMITED WARRANTY STATED ABOVE IS ONLY VALID FOR PRODUCTS SOLD IN T BY TOTOLINK OR ITS AUTHORIZED RESELLERS.  ANY ADDITIONAL WARRANTY OR SERVICES AGREED UPON DURING THE PURCHASE SHALL ONLY BE EFFECTIVE BASED ON THE CONTRACT SIGNED BY TOTOLINK.

 

2. WARRANTY SERVICES MADE AVAILABLE BY DISTRIBUTORS ARE NOT COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY POLICY, AND TOTOLINK SHALL NOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY SUCH WARRANTY SERVICE. IN ORDER TO RECEIVE ANY BENEFIT FROM THE DISTRIBUTOR’S WARRANTY AND/OR OTHER POLICIES, PLEASE KEEP ANY DOCUMENTS OBTAINED DURING THE PURCHASE.

 

3. NO EMPLOYEE OR REPRESENTATIVE OF TOTOLINK OR ITS AFFILIATES OR ANY THIRD PARTY IS AUTHORIZED TO MAKE ANY MODIFICATIONS, EXTENSIONS, OR ADDITIONS TO THIS WARRANTY POLICY.  IF ANY TERM OF THIS WARRANTY POLICY IS HELD TO BE ILLEGAL OR UNENFORCEABLE, THE REMAINING TERMS OF THIS WARRANTY POLICY WILL REMAIN IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT.

 

4. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE LIMITED WARRANTY WRITTEN ABOVE IS THE ONLY EXPRESS WARRANTY TOTOLINK PROVIDES FOR THE APPLICABLE TOTOLINK PRODUCTS, AND THE ABOVE REMEDY IS YOUR SOLE REMEDY. TOTOLINK EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, WHETHER STATUTORY OR IMPLIED, ARISING FROM THE COURSE OF CONDUCT OR OTHERWISE, REGARDING THE APPLICABLE TOTOLINK PRODUCTS, EXCEPT THAT ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE APPLICABLE WARRANTY PERIOD STATED ABOVE. CUSTOMER ASSUMES ALL RISK WHATSOEVER AS TO THE RESULT OF THE USE OF THE PRODUCTS PURCHASED, WHETHER USED SINGULARLY OR IN COMBINATION WITH ANY OTHER PRODUCTS OR SUBSTANCES.

5. YOU EXPRESSLY UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TOTOLINK AND ITS SUBSIDIARIES AND AFFILIATES (COLLECTIVELY, "TOTOLINK PARTIES") SHALL NOT BE LIABLE TO YOU UNDER ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY (WHETHER CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE) OR FAILURE OF ANY WARRANTY OR OTHERWISE) FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES THAT MAY BE INCURRED BY YOU IN CONNECTION WITH ANY TOTOLINK PRODUCTS OR THESE TERMS, INCLUDING ANY LOSS OF DATA, WHETHER OR NOT A TOTOLINK PARTY OR ITS REPRESENTATIVES HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF OR SHOULD HAVE BEEN AWARE OF THE POSSIBILITY OF ANY SUCH LOSSES ARISING.

 

6. TOTOLINKIS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES, INJURIES, OR LOSS OF USE DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY FROM THE USE OR ATTEMPTED USE OF TOTOLINKPRODUCTS AND SERVICES. YOU EXPRESSLY AGREE AND UNDERSTAND THAT TOTOLINK PRODUCTS ARE USE AT YOUR OWN RISK

 

Remarks: Totolink reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to interpret, modify, and amend this warranty policy at any time.
