Application introduction: To enter the router’s setting interface, you may enter the specified IP if you know setup your PC or set your PC to obtain an IP address automatically.

The steps for configuring TCP/IP properties (Here I take system W10 for example).

STEP-1: 

Click on   at the bottom right corner on the screen

STEP-2: 

Click on [Properties] button in the lower left corner

STEP-3:

Double click on “Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)”

STEP-4: 

Now you have two ways to configure the TCP/IP protocol below:

4-1. Assigned by DHCP Sever

Select Obtain an IP address automatically and Obtain DNS Server address automatically, as shown in the figure below. These may be selected by default. Then click OK to save setting.

4-2. Assigned manually

Using the following IP Address, as shown in the following figure.

[1] If the router’s LAN IP address is 192.168.1.1, please type in IP address 192.168.1.x （“x” range from 2 to 254）, the Subnet Mask is 255.255.255.0 and Gateway is 192.168.1.1.

[2] If the router’s LAN IP address is 192.168.0.1, please type in IP address 192.168.0.x （“x” range from 2 to 254）, the Subnet Mask is 255.255.255.0 and Gateway is 192.168.0.1.

STEP-5:  

Check the IP address you get automatically in the former step

The IP address is 192.168.0.2, it means the network segment of your PC is 0, you should enter http://192.168.0.1 into the address bar of your browser.

Enter the router’s setting interface similarly and do some settings.

Application introduction: TOTOLINK WiFi adapter can realize the wireless signal’s receiving and enlarging and also work as an AP. It can be a WiFi hot spot by using wired network or existing WiFi signal to realize Internet sharing for multiple devices.

To realize the Soft AP function, you just need to follow the steps below.

STEP-1: Install the driver

Double click on the install application, just select “Next” step by step according to the tips. As there is the applying icon on your desktop, it means you have installed the application successfully. 

STEP-2:

Right click on the TOTOLINK Ultility icon, and select “Switch to AP Mode”.

The icon will change after changing to the AP mode.

STEP-3:

Make sure that your wired network is shared

3-1. Right click on “Online neighbors”, select “Property”, then double click on “Local connection Status”. Click “Properties” afterwards.

3-2. In the Local Area Connection Properties interface, click “Sharing”, tick the option, and click “OK”.

STEP-4:

Click the setup icon, and enter the SSID (Ex. SoftAP), click the arrow icon afterwards.

STEP-5:

Select the correct Channel according to you situation.

STEP-6:

Choose the encryption mode and type for security. WPA-PSK and WPA2-PSK is recommended.

STEP-7:

Enter the password and click the arrow icon to finish AP setup.

STEP-8:

Soft AP setup successfully and you can see the detailed information in the interface.

Application introduction: The procedures in different systems are quite similar, therefore, here takes the procedures in Windows XP for example.

STEP-1: 

Insert the Resource CD into your CD-ROM drive, the window (Figure 1) will appear. Please choose the model No. (Ex. A1000UA) from the drop-down list and click Install.

STEP-2: 

Follow the instructions step-by-step to complete Installation.

STEP-1: Open the device manager

①Right-click This PC and select manage

② Click device manager

③ Click network adapters

④ Select 802.11ac Wireless LAN Card

STEP-2: Choose 2.4G country region

① Right click→properties

② Click Advanced

③ Click Country Region（2.4GHz）

④ In Value options select #1（1-13）

Note: Can meet most of the router (AP) requirements

STEP-3: Choose 5G country region

① Click Country Region（5GHz）

② In Value options select #16（36-173）

Note: Can meet most of the router (AP) requirements

Application introduction: Before using TOTOLINK 3G router, including G150R, G300R, iPuppy5, please first check carefully whether the USB modem you use to connect the router is compatible with these models. Below is the 3G compatibility list:

When you connect your PC to the AP wirelessly, please turn the AP/Router switch to the Router side.

1. Type in 192.168.1.1 in the address field of Web Browser and then press Enter key. 

2. It will show up the following page that requires you to enter valid User Name and Password:

Enter admin for User Name and Password, both in lower case letters. Then click Log In button or press Enter key.

3. Now you have logged into the web interface of the router. On the left, it is a menu bar. The right part shows the parameter settings requiring you to setup. 

STEP-1: Accessing Web page

1-1.Connect to the Router by typing 192.168.1.1 in the address field of Web Browser. Then press Enter key. 

1-2. It will show up the following page that requires you to enter valid User Name and Password:

Enter admin for User Name and Password, both in lower case letters. Then click Log In button or press Enter key.

STEP-2: Printer server setting

2-1. Click USB Storage->Printer Server, and select Enable. Now the setting on the Router for printer server is finished.

2-2. Before you use this function, please make sure:

● All the computers connected to this router have installed Printer Driver. If not, please install it first. (Please Refer to How to Install Printer Driver)

● Your Printer must be an USB Printer that can be connected to the router. 

STEP-3: Go to the printer server interface

If all that are ready, please click Start Server button to share the printer service connected to the USB port of router.

3-1. Click Start—Printers and Faxes: 

3-2. Click Add a printer on the left: 

3-3. Click Next while it comes out the welcome interface as below. 

3-4. Choose “Local printer attached to this computer” and click Next.

3-5. Select “Create a new port” and choose “Standard TCP/IP Port” for type of port. Click Next. 

3-6. Please click Next on below window. 

3-7. The most important: please type in the gateway of your wireless router, by default, it is 192.168.1.1 for TOTOLINK wireless router.

3-8. Now you have to select the right Printer Manufacturer and model number and install it.

Note: Make sure the Printer has been plugged into the USB port of router, else it will show you that there isn’t any printer founded.

3-9. After installation, you can share the USB Printer connected to your router.  

If you don’t want to share your Pinter any more, just choose Disable in the printer server interface. 

Application introduction: The router allows you to set up a wireless network quickly and share a 3G mobile connection. By connecting to a UMTS/HSPA/EVDO USB card, this router will instantly establish a Wi-Fi hotspot which can make you share an Internet connection wherever 3G is available. 

You can connect and share 3G network by inserting a 3G network card in the USB interface. 

1. Access Web page

The default IP address of this 3G Router is 192.168.0.1, the default Subnet Mask is 255.255.255.0. Both of these parameters can be changed as you want. In this guide, we will use the default values for description. 

(1). Connect to the Router by typing 192.168.0.1 in the address field of Web Browser. Then press Enter key. 

(2).It will show up the following page that requires you to enter valid User Name and Password:

(3). Enter admin for User Name and Password, both in lower case letters. Then click Log In button or press Enter key.

Now you will get into the web interface of the device. The Main screen will appear. 

2. Setup 3G Internet function

Now you have logged into the web interface of the 3G Router. 

Method 1:

(1)Click Easy Wizard on the left menu.

(2) Input the information provided by your ISP. 

Don’t forget to click Apply button on the bottom of the Interface.

Now you already setup 3G Internet function.

Method 2:

You can also set the features in Network section.

(1). Click Network->WAN Setting

(2). Choose the 3G connection type and enter the parameters provided by your ISP, and then click Apply to save settings.

STEP-1:

Login the router web-configuration interface.

1-1. If you turn the button to the Router side, you should connect your computer to the router wirelessly, then login the router by entering http://192.168.1.1 into the address bar of your browser.

1-2. Please login to the Web Setup interface (the default user name and password is admin).

STEP-2:

Click Wireless Settings->Wireless Setup.

STEP-3:

In wireless setup interface, you can change the SSID now. You can also change the encryption method here.

We take iPuppy for example

STEP-1:

here is a press-button on your router’s interface, when the button is on the left, it’s AP mode, on the right, it’s Router mode. 

STEP-2:

Log in the router to check the status

2-1. If you turn the button to the Router side, you should connect your computer to the router wirelessly, then login the router by entering http://192.168.1.1 into the address bar of your browser.

Then will be a table, please login to the Web Setup interface (the default user name and password is admin).

2-2. Select System Status, You will see the table below, and the running mode is Router mode.

If you want to switch the router to AP mode, you just need to put the button on the surface to AP side, and if you want to check the status, please connect it to your PC by cable and other steps is the same as we mention earlier.
