Application introduction:This article describes the Windows operating system computer connected to the router (or other network device) by wireless or wired, view the gateway IP address of the current router.
For Windows W10: STEP-1. TOTOLINK Router LAN Port Connects the PC Or wirelessly connect to TOTOLINK Router WIFI. STEP-2. Right-click the Network Connections icon, click on “Network & Internet settings”. STEP-3. Pop up the Network & Internet Center interface, click on “Network and Sharing Centre” under Related settings. STEP-4. Click connections target STEP-5. Clink Details… STEP-6. Find to IPv4 Default Gateway, This is the current gateway address of your router.
For Windows 7,8, 8.1 and 10: STEP-1. Click on windows key+ R key on the keyboard at the same time. ‘R’ STEP-2. Enter cmd in the field and click OK button. STEP-3. Type in ipconfig and click enter key. Find to IPv4 Default Gateway, This is the current gateway address of your router. |

Application introduction: IP conflict may happen while there are two routers in series connection or other reasons, which may cause false connection. Change LAN IP by follow steps can help you avoid of IP conflict. STEP-1: Connect your computer to the router 1-1. STEP-4: Wait for 40 seconds until the progress bar finished and then you should use the new address to enter the setting interface later. |

Application introduction: If you want to access Internet by the Router, please follow the steps below to setup the Internet function. STEP-1: Connect your computer to the router Connect your computer to the router by cable or wireless, then login the router by entering http://192.168.1.1 into the address bar of your browser. Note: The default IP address of TOTOLINK router is 192.168.1.1, the default Subnet Mask is 255.255.255.0. If you can't log in, Please restore factory settings. There are two ways for you to setup Internet functions. You can choose Setup Tool or Internet Wizard to set up. STEP-2: Select Internet Wizard to setup 2-1. Please click Internet Wizard icon to enter the router’s setting interface. 2-2. Please login to the Web Setup interface (the default user name and password is admin). 2-3. You can choose “Automatic Internet Configuration” or “Manual Internet Configuration” in this page. As the WAN port should be connected to the Internet while you select the first one, so we suggest you to choose “Manual Internet Configuration”. Here we take it for example. 2-4. Select one method according to your PC and click next to enter the parameters provided by your ISP. 2-5. The DHCP method is selected by default. Here we take it as an example. You can choose one method to set MAC address according to need. Then click “Next”. 2-6. Click Save and Close button to reply configuration. STEP-3: Choose Setup Tool to set up 3-1. Please click Setup Tool icon to enter the router’s setting interface. 3-2. Please login to the Web Setup interface (the default user name and password is admin). 3-3. Select Basic Setup->Internet Setup or Advanced Setup->Network->Internet Setup, there are three modes to choose. [1] Select DHCP User If you choose this mode, you will get a dynamic IP address from your ISP automatically. And you will access Internet by using the IP address. [2] Choose “PPPoE User” All the users over the Ethernet can share a common connection. If you use ADSL virtual dial-up to connect Internet, please choose this option, you just need to input your User ID and Password. [3] Choose Static IP User If your ISP has provided the fixed IP that enable you to access Internet, please choose this option. Don’t forget to click “Apply” to make it take effect after you set up. |

Input the new user name and password you want to change 2-3. Just chick “Apply” to make the new user name and password to take effect. Now you have changed the user name and password, please remember the user name and password for logging in the interface again. |

Application introduction: Multi-SSID allows users to create network name with different priority for clients or friends accordingly. It is good for access control and your data privacy. STEP-1: 1-1. Click Advanced Setup->Wireless->Multiple BSS on the navigation bar on the left. STEP-3: Fill in the information about SSID in the blank, and then click Add button to apply modification. --SSID: network name --SSID Broadcast: Select hidden SSID --Access Policy: a. Allow all: allow users share files or other motion by external network and LAN. b. Only for Internet: Only allow users hare files or other motion by external network. --Encryption:Set encryption key for the wireless network. STEP-4: After adding other SSIDs you can see the information in the Wireless Network Information bar. |

If you want to login to TOTOLINK router’s setting interface to configure some settings, please follow the steps below. STEP-1: 1-1. Connect your computer to the router by cable or wireless, then login the router by entering http://192.168.1.1 into the address bar of your browser. Note: The default IP address of TOTOLINK router is 192.168.1.1, the default Subnet Mask is 255.255.255.0. If you can't log in, Please restore factory settings. 1-2. Please click Setup Tool icon to enter the router’s setting interface. 1-3. Please login to the Web Setup interface (the default user name and password is admin). STEP-2: Disable SSID broadcast 2-1. Choose Advanced Setup->Wireless->Wireless Setup. 2-2. Choose “Start” in the Operation bar and uncheck the SSID broadcast bar, then click Apply to make the settings take effect. Now you finish the setting to hide SSID, please remember the SSID because when you want to connect to it you should enter the correct SSID for a manual search. |

Now you can log in the interface to change the router’s SSID. STEP-2: Alter the SSID of the router 2-1. Choose Advanced Setup->Wireless->Wireless Setup. 2-2. Choose “Start” in the operation bar, and input the new SSID to replace the original SSID (Ex. A2004NS). Then click “Apply” in the lower right corner. After changing the SSID others can search the new SSID to connect to the Router. |
