Application introduction: If you can’t access the router’s setup interface or simply forgot the router’s password, you may reset the current configuration to factory default. There are two ways to.
STEP-1: Connect your computer to the router 1-1. Connect your computer to the router by cable or wireless, then login the router by entering http://192.168.1.1 into the address bar of your browser. Note: The default IP address of TOTOLINK router is 192.168.1.1, the default Subnet Mask is 255.255.255.0. If you can't log in, Please restore factory settings. 1-2. Please click Setup Tool icon to enter the router’s setting interface. 1-3. Please login to the Web Setup interface (the default user name and password is admin). STEP-2: Click Advanced Setup->System->Config Backup/ Restore on the navigation bar on the left. STEP-3: Click Factory Default to reset the router’s configuration. STEP-4: Click OK and wait for few seconds to finish resetting.
Only by one click on the RST/WPS button STEP-1: Press and hold the RST/WPS button for about 10 seconds, until the CPU led blink quickly. STEP-2: After nearly 30 seconds, resetting is finished. |

Application introduction: AP Client mode allows users with laptop to surf Internet by wireless connection. It’s designed to add wireless function for existed wired Router. STEP-1: Connect your computer to the router 1-1. Connect your computer to the router by cable or wireless, then login the router by entering http://192.168.1.1 into the address bar of your browser. Note: The default IP address of TOTOLINK router is 192.168.1.1, the default Subnet Mask is 255.255.255.0. If you can't log in, Please restore factory settings. 1-2. Please click Setup Tool icon to enter the router’s setting interface. 1-3. Please login to the Web Setup interface (the default user name and password is admin). STEP-2: Click Advanced Setup->Wireless->Wireless Mutibridge on the navigation bar on the left. STEP-3: Finished the settings on the page as below, Click Add button after setting. --Operation: Start --Wireless Mode: Use Wireless WAN --SSID: Scan the router’ AP --Authentication & Encryption: choose encryption type and enter the password. STEP-4: After click Search AP, it will pop up the page. Choose the AP by double click and then click Select AP button. STEP-5: Click Advanced Setup->Network->LAN/DHCP Server on the navigation bar on the left. STEP-6: Change the third column of the LAN IP (LAN segment should not be the same with the primary router). Generally, enter 2 if there’s no particular requirement. Then click Apply& Restart button. STEP-7: Wait for 40 seconds, and then it will pop up a window prompts you to reconnect the website as the LAN IP has changed. STEP-8: Login the router’s setting interface, and check the Internet status. |

Application introduction: TOTOLINK routers provide repeater function, which help extending wireless signal easily and expanding the coverage of wireless Preparation: Prepare two wireless routers at first, and call the first one AP-1 while the other is AP-2. The router we will setup below is AP-2. STEP-1: Connect your computer to the router 1-1. Connect your computer to the router by cable or wireless, then login the router by entering http://192.168.1.1 into the address bar of your browser. STEP-2: Click Advanced Setup->Wireless->Wireless Multibridge on the left. STEP-3: Click Search AP and find AP-1’s SSID, and then choose the same encryption type and password with AP-1 for AP-2. Notice: SSID cannot be modified, and password is the same as AP-1 (Encryption and Encryption key) STEP-4: Click Advanced Setup->Wireless->LAN/DHCP on the navigation bar on the left. STEP-5: Choose Stop to disable DHCP server, and then click Apply button. STEP-6: Do next two steps below if AP-1 and AP-2 are both TOTOLINK routers with the same LAN IP. 6-1. Enter the LAN/DHCP interface by click Advanced Setup -> Network ->LAN/DHCP Server on the left. 6-2. Modify the LAN IP of the router to 192.168.X.1 (“x” range from 2 to 254) manually. Then click Apply& Restart button. |

Application introduction: WDS (Wireless Distribution System) provides bridge traffic between two LANs though the air and extends the coverage range of a WLAN. Notice: Both routers must have the same channel set. Both routers must be set to the same band 2.4G or 5G.This article takes 2.4G as an example.
STEP-1: Connect your computer to the router 1-1. Connect your computer to the router by cable or wireless, then login the router by entering http://192.168.1.1 into the address bar of your browser. STEP-3: Enter the information show below and then click Apply button for saving modification. --SSID: Network name (avoid setting the same name with each other) --Channel: Select by your environment (e.g. 11) --Encryption: WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK+AES --Encryption key: Type in eight to sixty-three letters(a~z) or numbers (0~9) STEP-4: Click Advanced setup->Wireless->WDS Setup, then click [AP Scan] to choose SSID of Secondary Router.
STEP-1: Connect your computer to the second router, the first step is the same as the first router. STEP-2: Click Advanced setup->Wireless->WDS Setup on the left. STEP-3: Click [AP Scan] and find the SSID of the first router, and then click Add button.The AP’s information will be displayed next as the picture show. STEP-4: Enter Wireless Setup interface. Enter the SSID different from the first router, and the same channel、encryption type and password with the first router. STEP-5: Click Advanced Setup->Network->LAN/DHCP Server on the navigation bar on the left. STEP-6: Skip to STEP-6 if the router is in the same LAN with Primary Router but different IP Address. 6-1. Change the LAN IP to 192.168.1.X(X must be different from the first one), and then click Apply& Restart button. 6-2. Login the router’s setting interface again. STEP-7: Stop DHCP Service in the LAN/DHCP setup interface by selecting stop as the image show. |

STEP-4: Next to click Use Remote Accesslist and type in the IP allowed if you want to remotely manage by a specify IP address.
